Sureflo pump

I recently converted my own van and the pump for the water to the sink "pulsates". It seems to be repeatedly priming itself. Never having done a conversion, is this how they work? I did the conversion over the cold winter and the water froze in the pipes etc a couple of times. Any help or suggestions. Cheers, Dave

If you mean that it keeps switching on even though you have no tap turned on, either there is a leak in the system or the pump's internal non-return valve is damaged and allowing water back into the tank.

If you mean that it switches on & off rapidly when you have a tap turned on, what's happening is that the pump is reaching its cut-off pressure too quickly. You either need to increase the flow, increase the pump's cut-off pressure, or fit a pressure accumulator in the system.

You need to fit an accumalator after the pump between it and the taps/shower.

It builds up a pressure and stops the pump constantly switching on and off, not expensive.
