Knew I'd spelt it wrong - Carado range is advertised as "Made by Hymer".

German quality (... it was...)
Have a closer look: practically are their parts are made in China, Taiwan, India, Singapore..... you name it. They only put it together. I will not blame the brand; but made in Germany, UK, France.... does not exist anymore.
My previous computer was a Fujiti-Siemens. (last part of German quality). The only German piece was the wire and the plug
(even Stella is no longer brewed in Belgium alone ...)

quite so but some of the china quality is very good.

we have a similar thing going here with food
you can call it a homemade brittish meat pie as long as the pie is made here. but the ingredients can come from anywhere
no sence to it
