Parked up at Aberdour this morning. Looking over the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh.

Years ago when I was younger and fitter I used to take part in the Carnethy Hill race every year. Great fun, mainly for the post race bbq!

Likewise. First time was 46years ago when I was a Boy Scout.

You are a mere youngster then. I started doing the race - first time was just the walk - in the mid 70’s (1974 or 75 I think) at the ripe old age of 25!!

It was 77 or 78 my first go. There were 3 of us rescued by the army as we took that long and it was getting dark. The army used to marshal the walk/race.
