Hi guys:help:

anyone stayed in stratford recently, we are traveling down to devon end of month and would love to spend the 1st day looking around startford upon avon, not sure where to stay:sleep-027: and is it easy to park close to town or the main sightseeing part of town, actually where is the main part of sightseeing town)

I think you can stay overnight in the Marina Car Park, here: 52.192016,-1.69974 (Marina Car Park) - Google Maps
It's in the database, don't know if anyone's used it recently and can report?

We stay on the Marina car park regularly. We use it as a halfway stop en route to Eurotunnel.
It's pay and display and the cost of an overnight ticket between 6pm and 9am is £2.00.
It's level, quiet and quite picturesque as it's bordered by the canal marina and all the narrowboats.
The warden comes round at about 8.30 each morning to check tickets and collect litter, but has no problem with overnighting. We're usually sat at the table having breakfast when he wanders around the van. Make sure you park in a marked bay, as there is the threat of a fine otherwise.
