hi i am going to upton on seven this week end i read some were that you can stay on car park by town just want to know if any body has done it and has any body had any problems thanks justpugs

Theres a long layby on the road South out of town, a cut off bit of road following road improvements. I have seen many vans use this, it's only a short walk into town.

have used it many times but can be a bit noisy when the trucks start to move, usually about 5 am. Depending upon what day it is the toilets might be open all night and there is a fresh water tap just over the road

There used to be a lorry park there, not been for a few years, but if its still there, it wont be busy on a weekend.
Cheers, Pete.

Hi, I used the Upton on Severn car park recently, it was super, it cost £3.50 for 24 hours . We had a good quiet night there, about 10 vans were present. It does have lorries overnighting there but they were no problem and noise was minimal.
It is called Church street carpark and is found at the entry to the town, you can't miss it. Upton is a super town, has a great chippy and river walks, sit by the river and eat your fish and chips and have a pint, lovely, the tourist information office is near the car park and the staff are very helpful.I was so impressed with the facilities provided IE toilets ,water tap, and being able to overnight there that I E Mailed the Upton Council and thanked them for providing the facility.
