Hi. Going to see some friends in Fenton for day on Saturday, but thought if we could find a stopover we might go night before. They have no room there to stop, so wondered if anyone knew of somewhere between Junction 16 M6 to Fenton.

Angela.

You could use the "Transport Cafes" around that area.

1. A53 a41 m6 market drayton lorry park - N52.91366 W2.48866

2. A5020 crewe - N53.08562 W2.42916

3. A518 uttoxeter sylroys - N52.88612 W1.90520

They are not right in Stoke but on the outskirts a few miles out.

What about Parkhall country park at Weston Coyney, lots of parking area's up there? Good views over the city from the top.
Or there's a little Industrial estate off Victoria Road opposite the Lowe and Rhodes caravan dealers?

also if you travel 5 mins down the A500 theres an industrial estate where all the truckers stop off the Tunstall/Burslem turn off, think it's called Chemical Lane, there's a Scania dealer down there. Also a little up from that is a truck yard that lets stop overs for trucks, im sure he would let a MH if asked, I can get his details if you find nothing else as he comes in our chippy?

Also if you go to Trentham Gardens roundabout on the A34 and come back on yourself about 300yds you will see the Poachers Cottage on your left.
You could park just to the left of the pub car park. You could even have a drink.
Plenty of room and a good area

I wonder if you could stay on Trentham gardens car park? There's no barriers and its a free car park???

There's also an Aldi in Sneyd Green with a pub a bit further down. (the Horn and Trumpet) Cheap basic grub! No barriers and lots of room.
on Leek New Road A53

Thanks everyone for the help. Think will try for the layby one first mentioned. Will take other details with us just in case.
