Stonehaven

We have certainly stayed overnight there a few times in the past and never seen any signs (legal or otherwise), but latterly it has become too crowded for us. It can be tight to get in and around that area, and there is a large open air car park just down from the prom, so my normal complaint of stopping large, visiting vehicle parking, would not hold water. Personally, we have never seen it abused by setting out washing lines etc but we have seen some "long stayers" park up. It would be a shame to lose the spot, but I can understand residential unrest, however my suspicious nature thinks it is the nearby caravan site that may be stirring the complaints (if any). :scared:

I would put money down it was the caravan park that complained , but some people burn their own bridges staying for days on end and sitting out on the pavement eating meals .

Sitting out with tables and chairs on the pavement how bloody stupid! The sheer stupidity of some people. No wonder they have complained to the council.
