stolen car!?

I did the same about 20 years ago :( >>>>:D:D
.... and it doesn't go away; I get it on my plate every time the subject stolen cars comes up. :eek:
Embarrassing :eek::D:D
(my memory is like a Swiss cheese: it grows better, but the holes grow bigger)

I can go just one better. In 1968 my old dad bought a brand new viva (yes honest a vauxhall viva) I went to the shops in it I parked it up did some shopping then went home put new car in garage. next morning Dad said what did you do with the mower blade from the boot son,never seen it I said,after awhile we checked the registration on the log book because he had only had it for a couple of days and could,nt remember the reg number, oh s**t not dads car, but same model/colour,after being called all the best cus words ever known to man I drove it back to the carpark parked it on the opposite side locked it and drove dads car home,I often wonder how the owner explained it to the police.And Ive often wondered why the keys fitted? their Ive confessed, so if you owned a vauxhall viva that mysteriosly disappeared then reappeared in birminham in 1969 I am so sorry.
