Many have already posted in favour of this.
I am moving some funds to Thailand.
I used to use "worldfirst" but they now only deal with business accounts
I have just sent a test amount to a new bank account (in Thailand) From Starling
The FX rate is good (better than Lloyds) and they only charge £5.50 per transaction (again better than Lloyds)
Ok the transaction fee becomes negilgible for large amounts.
There is a daily limit of £10,000. No problem. I very rarely need to move more and you can do further payments the next day (Mon to Fri) The exchange rate and fee are displayed before you push the "Go ahead button"
So far so Very Good !
Those whose main need is Euros probaly know you get a euroaccount automatically and so you can move funds to that account when the exchange rate is favourable.
Also handy for those who spend time in Euroland but have their own currencies (Denmark)
