St Clears Wales, stuff to do there ?

We`re going to St Clears 16th - 20th April with my big bro and his wife. They are coming over from Canada and hear Ikea has a huge play room for adults. :lol-053: So thats something to do IF it rains but where elce would anyone recommend visiting ? We tend to mess about a bit so no where that we will have to behave.
Castles would be good, we like doing a bit of storming the walls. Promise not to damage anything thats realy old, that includes ourselves.

There is a cracking castle at Laugharne just down the road....and Dylan Thomas's Boathouse too.....he was a bit of a lad in his time....perhaps you could do a bit of re-inactment :shag:
The car park facing the sea is a good overnight spot...it has signs.... so more opportunity to misbehave.:p

Do behave i`ll have my big brother with me he still thinks i`m a good girl :angel:
We`re booked into a holiday cottage but will check out the seafront car park for future reference.
The castle sounds good will definately have a look.
Any nice waterside pubs there ?

The botanical gardens is quite near also Camarthen is worth a visit.
I just posted a pub worth a visit and you can stay overnight not to far from St Clears. The White Hart
Tenby is the prettiest place with boat trips etc.
There's a large boot sale at Carew castle.
Oakwood park is not to far if you like to be thrilled.
But the coast itself is the real attraction of the area.

So sorry...... I really did think stormywalters was a man....or would have picked a less rude smiley...
Can't help with the pubs as I went through there without a drop passing my lips!...There are a couple in St Clears itself though.

Wisemans bridge pub overlooks the sea and again motorhome spot.
 
Hi Stormywalters
Just down the coast road is Pendine. Pendine Sands is famous for land speed record
breaking on the long flat beach. Just off the beach is the museum of speed. And at the
Hotel the drivers stayed in on the front, is a record of events on the end outside wall.
Inside they sell a good pinte and decent meal.

Thanks will give it a go.
I`m on a diet and have 5 weeks to get to target weight, only 3lb to go so if I can loose a couple more lb I can have large portions....... :tongue:
