special chargers

Hello forum.
A friend has offered me some very large gel batterries , for fork lifts I think. He says they are unused but have been sitting around his factory for about 5 years. He mentioned there is a specific type of charger that would be good at restoring them but he can't rember the type. Would anyone know, and would it be worth trying to restore them to health?

perhaps the guys at sbmcc would be better. they are very good at teh stuff.

On the subject of chargers,iv,e been touring the coast of spain for a few months and i,ve seen quite a few boats in the marinas with the windmill type of charger whizzing away ,anyone tried these out,they might be usefull for full timers
