Sitting on La Manga campsite in the wind & rain :( First time we have actually booked a site usually we just wild camp & have the odd night on a site to have a sort out, do the washing etc.... This time we thought we would book somewhere (booked for 34 days ) Been here 3 days, weather is crap lots of wind & rain. If we hadn't booked I would be looking for somewhere to move to with better weather. It has een that bad I even paid for 30 days internet for 29.90€, looking at the weather at least I'll get my moneys worth. Saying that the connection isn't that great, it shows I'm connected but the web pages don't load .

Being bored I messed about with the TV & tuned it into the Spanish digital channels, what I found was on some of the programs which were originally English speaking ones we were able to change the audio from Spanish to English :) There seems to be a lot of films, USA series on which are dubbed but a press of the audio allowed us to have the original English  Our TV is a cheap Kenmark from Comet but I'm sure that should be the same as other TV's

Sorry to hear about the weather. Perhaps after reading this post, when you get up in the morning the sun will be shining. No matter what, have fun and enjoy the rest of your stay. Good Luck.

I am in Alicante same weather here to and not looking to good next week but many years i have lived here much as never been that good but it changes very quickly, hope it picks up for you. ken:cool:

Well Ed...i live near malaga and its been the same here since tuesday night.
Sunday is supposed to be nicer.
But I tell you what, after todays horrific footage of the tsunami in japan I have
promised never to complain about the weather again.......

Shouldn't complain after seeing the tsunami, feel sorry for all the suffering it will cause.

Weather here is supposed to be better on Sunday then back to the same for next week. Did manage to get out on our electric bikes for a ride, got to the supermarket & back with just a bit of rain. Bought a bottle of cheap whiskey from El Arbol for 4.99€ to be honest it's not too bad considering I'm likely to be getting through a fair bit. Bought a few of my single malts I got for Christmas & was getting through them a bit too quick
