Last week we were going to go to Ireland and do the west coast trip. The wife has now decided the weather is awful for the next month over there, so we are putting it off till next year and are going to start from Hull and hug the coast line down and round the south east right over to cornwall and back up through Wales. Im pretty much ok from southampton onwards but the south east corner is a misnomer to us. Does anyone know any good interesting places going round that coast line.

Plenty of National Trust properties in the Southeast, if you are interested in that sort of thing.

Stoned

Well my van got damaged at South End one of the POI’s. One dent was was about 8 to 10mm deep 25-30mm across so there are twats about in that area. Just be careful and stick to quiet places.

I know its not wild camping and may not be waht you are looking for but some of the big Haven/Park/etc sites have really good deals on like £5 per night (if you dont want electric) not quite as good as last year when I got into chichester for £1 pernight there are a couple in that area.

Last year as regards solitude I might as well have been wild camping there was just me, a large RV which appeared to have fulltimers in it and one other m/home in a field the size of three football pitches
