quick cheap job on this. he wanted a slide away bed, a removable rear seat and drawers under the bed. it was already panelled so just the furniture to make . the main seat has a small storage area on the side, a short drawer with the boom box built in behind, and one big drawer for bedding ,the amp is behind the little hatch for easy wiring.
the hob sits on a cupboard big enough for a bit of kitchenware and a water container.
the cupboard next to the bed a bit of worktop and more storage, and supports one end of the rear seat, the other end sits on the wheelarch
there's a removable backrest which can also be put on the other side of the seat so you can sit looking out the back P1010043.jpgP1010042.jpgP1010044 (1).jpgP1010045.jpg
total cost , about £250 including the floor walls and ceiling

Hello mr Brown (Nige)

I like your use of the White plastic soffit board on the ceiling.
Why did you start using that?
Does it condensate?
I've use it in bathrooms and kitchens, plus rooms under bathrooms which have leaked!
Do you fix inbertween the 300mm panels? Somtimes I do think it can sag a bit with age( like us all)
I do like your convertions and work.
Thanks
John
that's cheap timber T&G from B&Q painted all round, no worries about condensation with wood !
i use it because i like it, it's easy insulate as it goes up, and it's cheap

Impressive day van result for little outlay. Hope you made sonny boy carry out some of the graft.
