A friend bought a 2021 Burstner 736 Harmony and decided for various reasons it wasn't for him, the main reason it was too big. He went back to the dealer, expecting maybe 4-5 grand loss, instead, he made a £50 profit! There was just under 500 miles on the clock. The dealer told him that it was a 'bloody nightmare trying to get stock' and admitted he would put it back on the forecourt for an extra grand and didn't expect it be around for long. Friend then bought an Autosleeper 6.6 metre long off the same dealer, same day and got £250 knocked off the screen price.

Crazy, crazy world.

About 2 yrs ago on way home from a trip we called into a dealer who had a newer model of our van he offered us a fair exchange price we came home he phoned 2 wks later to tell us if we wanted to go ahead all was ready his end. But covid was starting we decided not to go ahead. He's phoned us twice since if we want a straight sale offering 4K more than the trade in

Same here a couple of vans same as mine 5 years old with less extras selling for 20k more than the new price 5 years ago. Never mind the stock market buy a few motorhomes.

I'll be interested to see what happens when the bubble bursts.

Bought our MH, 5 yrs old just before covid hit, didn’t get a chance to use it, other than an odd night on the Costa driveway.
Dealership rang me during the 1st release of covid restrictions to check all was well, and offered me 5K more than I’d paid, I politely refused.
Same dealership, around October last year had an identical model, same year but with more miles on it advertised for 17K more than I paid.
As said above, don’t buy shares investments, buy Motorhomes,,,,,,,Until the bubble bursts and they’re all worth £30.00

I'm afraid that it's exactly like the stock market - by the time you realise that it would have been a good investment, it's already too late.

Someone's trying to flog my old La Strada Regent S for 10k more than they paid for it. I gave them a good deal, but that's more than double...
