WE need more power,do you have any solar panels sitting around doing nowt, minimum 50W no max size, what have you?

Hi Wildman. You might like to look in your local branch of Maplin's ( or maplin.co.uk )and see if they have any of their twelve watt solar panels in a sale. If they have they should only be about forty quid each. I know that it sounds fairly pricey as you will want at least four, but they are far cheaper than most panels I see advertised. Despite the relatively low price they work pretty well. I fitted two to the roof of my Laika at the beginning of last year and have had no problems with them at all. Today was fairly sunny, and they were putting out one amp at twelve volts.
