Off to snowden w/e aiming to walk up, the cafe on the top should be open
from the 12 of this month.

get up there and enjoy it it is magnificent up top

I must admit I let the train take the strain

but still enjoy it any time we go up there

nice to know the cafe should be open

Try a pint of Boddingtons in the cafe that's if they still do it.
Best place to have a boddy's and a pork pie sat outside in glorious sunshine
 
Thanks, Ive climbed it twice before but the bride has not, weather pemiting and she will give it a go. Probably the llamberis end bit longer but not as steep:D

It was on radio 4 this morning
lad was saying it was -40 while they were building cafe
they often had to walk up because the train could not make it

The Highest Slum in Britain is reopening today ( Big Yers words not mine) 12 June 09. Looks absolutely magnificent. Enjoy your walk/climb.
Will do it ourselves when Angie finishes her cross Wales walk, can't wait.

Back from snowden bride made it with a lot of puffing and noises
I have not herd before :D:D
Cafe open and seems to be geared up for the train riders:mad:
asked for coke for full sugar kick and only sell pepsi max :eek: could
not believe it. Nice viewing window though.

Stayed on car park at the bottom over night £5 with a days parking fee
bargin royal victoria hotel right oppesite the train station in llamberis.

Next 2 nights in beddgellert whether brill.
France next week car'nt wait :D:D
