Heavy snow in Flanders this morning (wednesday). Unexpected ? = no road clearing. Result: complete traffic stand-still around Antwerp. Lorries blocking the roads and tunnel slopes. Motorways blocked : north > south and east > west

Really I cannot help you;hi leo
i think that moving antwerpen to norway might be the only answer
even my backstreet way through the city is becoming a nightmare( last trip the kenedy was at a stand still for an hour and a half)
any ideas on through routes to amsterdam would not only help me but may also help your government

Leo I still have not found out how to make a new post despite appeals everywhere including admin so hope this one gets to you/
When you clicked in this did you click on the snow on the right hand side. If you click on the news instead, then at the top left it will say new thread. then type your title, then your thread its easy really, even for an old timer like you.
Hope this is works for you.

Fitzi finally sorted it all out: got a PM from him and send him this answer to his personnal @:
It was a bit stormy this afternoon over here (nothing alarming, only very wet); now it's easying. Not big dammage. It seems the eye of the storm made a bow from the Vendée, over Brittanny, Picardie, over the Ardennes towards Germany (Aachen).
I guess no abnormal problems nor in Flanders (we have relatives in Veurne: nothing happened overthere) nor in Burgundy. Nothing to fear of I think.
Keep it wilding,
Leo
