I'm sure Belgium isnt that big, but it would be a lot quicker to get to Italy if it was.
Have a good Xmas & New year.
Cheers, Pete.
PS. you are still the only mainland European Wildcamping sticker owner.

Hi Pete,
Hell is freezing over here. At the seaside it was -2; here in Antwerp it is already -9. In the Aredennes they had -18 last night. It promises
Global warming up ?; they sure couldn't place Belgium on this planet.:rolleyes:
To all continental friends: Please order a sticker and rescue me out of this loneliness ;):D
A merry Xmas and a wild new year to you all.

Hi Bevdrew

thanks for the info, it would be useful if you could keep us posted on the weater and conditions as we are heading up there on Boxing Day

thanks

Jenny

Hi Jenny

Still very little snow in Stirling - the stuff that fell yesterday froze quicly overnight and has had a new sprinkling on top this morning - roads around here ok, but Stirling is usually protected from the worst by the surrounding hills.

A mile or so in either direction, i.e Dunblane or towards Callander and it can be a very different picture, with heavy snow lying. but again the local council are usually quite good at keeping the main rods (bus routes) clear.

Hope this helps

Bev

My ideal would be snow on Skye (we have some at present) but none on the main road across to the mainland...I'm working Thursday/ Friday/ Sunday near Dornie and would rather like a safe trip across the mountains!
