At times I am unable to attach a smilie to my post. When I go to "reply to thread" the "no Icon" button is off. When I click on a smilie, it shows up on my post before I "submit " When I submit, it has disappeared. Another thing. The HMTL button is off, cannot switch it on. I have downloaded the smiles, it always tells me I must have HMTL, so I click on it and nothing happens. HELP please in very simple PC wording. ☺

The "no icon" is not to do with smilies, that is the icon that appears next to the thread in the indexes.

To post a smilie just click on it in the box on the right of the message box. Or click more to have them popup in a new window. If you click on one in the new window it will appear in your post. You do not need to download them.
 
I cannot see a button for "more" I have clicked on a thumbs down button, let's see if it appears in the post. Looks like it has worked this time. Earlier it was not working. Where exactly is the "more" button?
