sleeping bag liners cheap

i like the price of the sleeping bags. esp the large one

Just ordered a new sleeping bag and liner to be collected from local store tomorrow for £7.60 :)

Their XL sleeping bags are good as well. I got one last year (at the full price) but not too good with a fleece liner as the lining is already fleece. fleece is not good against fleece. anyway the bag is the digs whatsits as it is wider that other makesXL's better for people like me who move around a lot at night.

Thanks to Hippy, and to Donkey Too/too ;-)

I've ordered one of each (nothwithstanding what Donkey said: I may try them out separately with a duvet as well as together), plus a spare liner for the not at all small anymore person (since they are easily washable, and I'm heartily sick of having smelly sleeping bags in the house: he acquired a new and far superior one at Glastonbury but I'm scared of washing it since the instructions tell you you shouldn't really. After another two festivals (Buddhafield and Greenbelt) it seriously could do with a wash!)

If I keep adding to my stock of things to try to keep me warm in the van in cold weather, I just might finally make it to one of this winter's meets.......

its absolutley wonderful :) she feels the same too. would never have belived it. the dogs love her too, all the animals.. we laugh, joke, hold each other..... just taking one day at a time though, shes here now, she took monday off as shes owed a few days, so were off to see my granddad with bad Alz in a home, with the dogs......walk them and just have a nice day. last night we went to a bar in town, where we went all the time 20 years ago. the flashbacks and how we feel is wonderfull. never thought someone my age could feel like a teenager in love again.

the sleeping bags are for the weekend in 2 weeks, im taking her to that place in Newark we had that big meet up........im hoping its a really cold night, so i have to hold her tight all night to keep her warm :)

Ahh... always heartwarming to hear stories like this (or am I just an old fashioned romantic??)

My best wishes to you both!!

Slightly OT but a couple of years ago I bought a 12v electric blanket from Netto. Works brilliant. Two heat settings and thermostat. Doesn't seem to drawn too much power either. Fantastic for winter. I was snug overnight in the back of a hired Transit with snow outside :)

Thanks for the heads up.

Just ordered fleece lined sleeping bag and fleece liner for Ribblehead New Year meet. And the camping mats are not a bad price at £4.88 each, might get cheaper in discount stores but it would cost me a fiver in fuel and parking to get into town to shop around. Camping mats will be used to insulate tranny van roof and floor under carpet.

Handy tip for the fleece on fleece problem - put your sleeping bag inside the fleece liner instead of the other way round.

I got one of these for emergencies but have never used it as I've been worried about it draining the battery.

At the moment I've got a leisure battery in the back of the tranny but its not connected to alternator battery and I am using a croc clip cig lighter socket from it to power lights, mobile charger etc. Any idea of number of hours the elec blanket could be used for before draining battery?

Sleeping bags etc arrived today, quick delivery for £3 - and the box is massive, I could sleep in it! The sleeping bags look excellent for the price; to be honest, good value even at full price. Ready to face 5 nights at Ribblehead now.

Bought 2 just in case its very cold - one inside the other, plus the fleece liner :lol-053:

had a nightmare with tesco, registered, paid by card..bank refused it cos never used tesco direct before. seemed to be sorted and got a sms saying delayed. my GF's mom ordered me2 other day and they came to hers ok. i used one last night laid in the back of the camper for a hour while she collected some things from her parents, was nice at warm.

i ordered by me, 2 doubles, 2 mummy bags (to keep in my cars boot, i always carry basic gas stove, water and emergency stuff so i can survive 3 days stranded in my car). hope to pick them up tomorrow!

Ordered us 3 cosy xl sleeping bags to keep in the camper which arrived today - they are brilliant. Would highly recommend, such a bargain.

Thanks for the heads up.

well i've bought 5, 1 for camper, 1 each for dogs, 1 to put round my feet in house, had them delivered to my local tesco so only cost me £10 cant get a blanket for that, well pleased, thanks OH for sharing xx
