Hi all,
I'm having a clear out and found this Skytronic 1000 watt inverter that I bought but never used. It would be ideal to go into a self build.
It gives genuine 1000 watt continuous and 2500 watt peak power with a soft start to reduce the surge load on the battery. The output current is a modified sine wave so it can be used to power laptops, tv's, games, microwaves etc.
It comes with all sorts of current and overload protections and low and high battery alarms and a thermal cutout so it does'nt overheat. Check out the Ebay listings for more info on these inverters.
This unit is brand new in it's original packaging and comes with heavy duty battery leads and instructions.
These go for over £115 currently on Ebay so I'm looking for sensible offers.
There are some cheaper inverters listed on Ebay as 1000 watt, but when you read the spec they are 1000 watt peak power and only 600 watt continuous power.
