Hi, I don't often post on here but I just thought I would pre warn people who are thinking of stopping over in Skipton( Craven District, North Yorkshire) the motorhome carpark (Coach Street Carpark) is now going to be enforced properly which means only 5 motorhomes are allowed to stop the night and must be parked in the correct bays. Any motorhome/campervan that is not parked In a correct bay runs the risk of receiving a Penalty Charge Notice (After 6pm only). During the day they are still allowed to use the carpark.

The very friendly traffic warden has been warning people this week because apparently a local resident has made a complaint regarding the numbers of motorhomes. Craven Council only have permission/insurance for 5 vehicles to stop overnight.

I would have thought the council have only given permission . Surely they could increase it ?
 
It does not surprise me in the least. What does surprise me is they haven't done it ages ago. At times the amount was ridiculous like Helmsley.

It's about time Masham got it's act together.
Someone should talk to Theakston's Brewery.
Overnight, their carpark should be ideal for MHs
