Sintra is a wonderful place to explore but motorhome parking is a problem.

Here's a suggestion.

There's a wonderful and old fashioned tram service that connects Praia das Macas with Sintra. There's a POI at Praia das Macas so you could park there and enjoy a scenic and slow trip by tram to Sintra, mooch around and return the same way.
