Sete

Anyone been to Sete lately? WE usualy park on the spit of sand between Sete and Adge on the N112 but have never slept there because of the traffic noise. This year coming from Marsilian Plage towards Sete we encountered a road close sign and a diversion,not one for taking notice of such things we went through it and proceed down the old beachside road that had been planed up and was very rough and sand covered but it was worth it as we over nighted there without the traffic noise, looking a mile or so towards Sete traffic was coming up towards us but diverting towards the Etag de Thau, I have looked on Google Earth to try and see what has happened and where the diversion goes but I think the photos are not recent enough. Looking at my map I cant see where a diversion could go without a bridge over the Etang, has anyone been down there recently, it looks like a little stone kiosk is being built in the road at the diversion point.

I was down that way a month ago, if you follow the diversion it takes you back onto the coast road, stayed at the parking place (Aire) just at the start of the coast road
