Seitz windows with the roller blind things

Can they be adjusted when the blind is closed so there is no tiny gap at the top? A small slither of light can be seen (if theres lights on in the van) from the outside and its bugging me that people can tell I am in the van.

I have tried to google for this but no luck. I did see reference to this being a 'night time security feature' but that doesn't make sense.

they can be re tensioned and reversed in the case of a tear

light showing at the top,,,,,not sure whatou mean

channa

Have you got the blind clipped into the flyscreen properly? Sometimes it leaves a small gap if not, regards Stephen.

Maybe not, but I don't see what I could be doing wrong!

Theres a gap of around 5mm

3 questions
is this happening on all windows?
do other people with seitz wondows have this problem?
would a flat plastic strip fixed either to the top of the window frame or to the inside of the plastic strip at the top of the blind[the bit you get hold of to move it] solve anything
plus one more, did you see mothmans seats for sale

1 Yep it's on all,
2 Not managed to find anyone else mentioning it
3 Yep Something like that would probably fix it. But I assume it could be adjusted

next question is if when the flyscreen and blind are connected by by their handles, you pull up the handle , does it then close?if it does then tightening the spring on the flyscreen may sort it.this would be fun to do involving taking off the inner frame and having a look to see how this is done.[ i'm doing this on here in case others do have the same prob]

I have 7 Seitz blinds (8 including the rooflight) and not one of them shows a chink of light.

Tried that, didn't work :(

Il bring my screwdrivers to the feb stone hinge meet ;)

i think ours leak a bit of light rond the slots on the frame edges

We have the pull down blinds and I don't think they show any light but i only ever really have one light on

Question-- Are you meant to pull the fly screen down with the blind? Or pull the blind over the flyscreen to close the blind??
