Seasonal work in France

This could be of interest to anybody wanting to spend the summer in France.

My son who manages a boatyard for Le Boat in Burgundy is currently looking for somebody to work on the hire fleet for the season, till possibly the end of October. Knowledge of French could be helpful but not essential. But must be prepared and able to undertake all manner of jobs related to hiring boats.

There are no problems for parking a motorhome. This could be a good opportunity for somebody who wants to spend the summer here and earn a crust at the same time.

Anyone interested and would like more details email Colin. branges@leboat.com or by phone 0033385749233.
Regards
Nolly.

Hi Lebesset.

Depends on the contract.
With a CDI (full contract) its a 151 hrs a month, and any overtime is taken back by having time off.
But with a seasonal contract overtime is paid after the 151 hrs.
Hope this is helpful.
regards Nolly.

Having worked in the Marine trade, hire flleet included, I might have been interested, but I am in retirement now and enjoying doing what I want to do:)

Hi Chopper
Have just sold our caravan or you could have had a loan of that. Best I can come up with now is a dome tent. Sorry that doesn't help much.:(

Hi.
There has been a good response for the job, Colin says thanks and is answering your emails as quickly as possible. Its a very busy weekend with boat departures so he apologises for any delay. Could you include your telephone number (preferably a land line) in your emails as It's easier by phone to ask and answer any questions.
Regards Nolly.

Hi *****.
It's been bloody awful. We were due to leave today on our trip north to Calais, our crossing isn't until Tuesday evening, the idea was to take it easy, driving only a couple of hours a day and then finding a nice spot to rest up. But the weather was so bad today we decided to leave it until tomorrow.:( We"re loaded up ready to go.:)

Apparently there was flooding in the Lot last week. Our son was concerned that clients would be transferred up to him.
The weather is set to improve from the weekend into next week fingers crossed.:) You can get a 10 day weather report covering all the regions with
Prévisions météo de Météo-France - Accueil I've found it to be reasonably reliable.
Hope this helps.

Regards Nolly
