Booked ours last week....Dover / calais.....out 23rd Aug.. back 9th Sept £57
P&O wanted £109 for the same trip....

My Pal is an accounts manager for SF....... they are offering lots of good deals just now and are looking for Car clubs, organisations and the like for discount offers....

My favourite carrier , Me and the hound back from France November and 19 euros ...at the desk ( not on line ) that was a far more expensive option

It looks like I will be out there again from mid March, and the the peeps paying the bill have suggested SF as my preferred carrier.

It seems they have a better deal with P&o which kills one of my little scams but hey ho

Hi, Booked this morning via Ferry savers. Dover / Calais 13th May - Calais /Dover 24 th June. £54 with Sea France. I would point out that the Murvi is a panel van conversion & goes into the less than 6.0metres by 2.5 metres category, but still a good deal methinks.

I just looked for Dover Calais return, 2/7 to 17/7, SF £38. P&O £106, Eurotunnel, £175.

I go several times a year and over the years have found Norfolk Line Dover/Dunkirk the best variety deals and especially for late booking: last week quited me 13 for 3 am crossing to Dunkirk!. Site gives you all the choices for several days-morning,noon and night best fares! :):(:D:cool::eek:

Just looked up price for first week in Sept and return last week in sept £75 with seafrance but still thinking of it :D:D:D

We usually look to see if we can get a cheap ferry crossing, tried to book & I just couldn't get anything cheap, so we used our Tesco clubcard vouchers & booked on Eurotunnel. This time it cost £32.50 in vouchers for a return trip .

I have only become a customer of SeaFrance because I have the hound in tow...In a previous life Norfolk lines and speed ferries were my preferred mode naturally on price.Bu tneither as far as I can tell are approved carriers in the PETS scheme hence my switch to Seafrance.

Sadly slingging of mutts is a tad difficult you see you have to leave em downstairs in the van...I agree in principal make the nastid swim and earn her dinner ....seems boorockracy wins again
