good tyres dont have to cost alot .expensive tyres might not be good tyres .
lot of fuss if you ask me .
i use tigar tyres on mine made in serbia . seem ok wear well grip ok . and not expensive .
given the treatment they get on rocks ,in the desert and up the mountain tracks in morocco cant complain.
did have avon tyres on before .absolute rubbish no grip .didnt wear to good and in the end had a couple blow out .the truck came with them .they cost alot more than the tigars and so far the tigars have out lasted them already.

Oh dear, I'm a total cheapskate & invariably buy the cheapest (but only if I can't make, scrounge or swop it first) I'm a born recycler with a garage (& spare rooms) full of stuff I no longer need but may come in useful.
I have chucked stuff out in the past (under extreme pressure from SWMBO) but it invariably turns out that I find that I desperately need it to fix something else a little while after it has gone. :mad2:
I hardly ever buy branded stuff if I can get something similar cheaper. I just don't get this "I must have the best/ top brand/ latest fashion/ biggest telly - or whatever thing. Mind you, I do enjoy a good selection of top single malts as well as a range of carefully selected cheap ones & certain also carefully selected Blends.
I love Charity shops & used to find lots of interesting old books in them, but now all the old stuff is sent for pulping so all that's available is the modern stuff that ought to be pulped!

Have Michelin tyres on my van, but the BFG all terrains on my Landrover are better,also iPhone+ iPad.Dont knock apple till you've tried it! Its an innovator not an imitator. :banana:
