Anyone know if you can buy "silverscreens" or similar specific for a VW Transporter cab?
 
i wouldnt buy internal blinds mate personally due to damp/water on the screen running down into your electrics the company we use have stopped makeing internal screen due to this

Just bought an external screen for my VW T4 from here. Good product and A1 service.
I was allowed a discount for collecting it ( just off M62 J26 near Bradford) and paying cash.
Bought to replace a padded internal screen which i'm not very pleased with. I agree with 177 tuf's comments.

We have a good set of externals,but you get condensation from these too,we are looking to get some internal screens as a convenience thing mainly in the summer,but to also keep the heat out if we are lucky enough to escape to the continent in years to come.
 
we use external even wilding and we dont get condense anywere even when heating on hte only way you get condense is there is a area thats not covered by the screen cover i had to modify my screens when they arrived cos my van has a air door like a bus not a normal passanger door
 
We got our external screens for Christmas from our, very generous, daughter. Used them for the first time at Aviemore at end Jan - v cold, heating on and were amazed that we got no condensation whatsoever, unlike our previous internal screens.

Daughter bought them from here and I see they do screens for loads of types of van, inculding VWs:

milenco external screens

I bought milenco external screnns for my Auto-Trail at the SECC caravan and camping exibition in glasgow 2 weeks ago. Used them last week at Wadsdale head for first time, perfect, no condensation. These screens, allegedlly, will fit all vans, so when i change my van i should be ok?

we have external silverscreens and they are realy good..
can you leave them on over the winter while the van is in storage or will it rust the van ?

I opened the zip part of my external screen, as the sun was shining, very shortly condensation appeared on the inside of the screen directly behind the opened screen. Closing the screen by zipping up the screen, the condendation disappeared. have to say they work.

thanks for that post rach-chavette i bought i second hand JustKampers set a month ago for my T4... I was having condensation worries?! :)
