My Fiat is due MOT and service in July, and can see the forum usually picks up most problems, somebody will probaly know? Past experience in motors has proven recommendation is the best way to go.

Dont bother with Perthshire Caravans as you have bought elsewhere they will not be interested, at least that was my experience in no uncertain terms. I went to Knowepark Caravans at Livingston and got excellent service for habitation although I now no longer have that done. MOT and service is at my local garage who are also excellent.

We also used Knowepark for the hab service. No complaints.

As they don't do the cab bit we went to the main Fiat garage in Grangemouth for that service (name escapes me at the moment).

Fiat garage in Grangemouth is Arnold Clark. This did some recalls on our 54-plate but couldn't do the MOT as they can't fit 3.5t motorhomes on their ramps.

Used MTH in Falkirk for MOT - excellent service, large new building, they service/MOT the local ambulances etc. Ask for John McNulty - he's a motorhome owner, so very friendly/helpful. MTH Autoservices Ltd. - 01324 623676; MTH Website

New Workshop opened October 2009 and recently exhibited at The Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Leisure show @ the SECC in Glasgow.
Hope this helps.

Check out either your local council veh workshop or local fire station veh workshop for MOTs. Both of these places are ' neutral' so will give you
a unbiased MOT report. Up here in the N East they will also do small replacements like light bulbs/wipers etc which maybe faulty during the MOT.
Can't say if they will do servicing, know ours dont.
