Hello has anyone managed to park overnight in a camper van of late in Scarborough
Don’t mind paying to park overnight but Scarborough was difficult 10 years ago ! ?
We intend going aug bank hol lol !!!
would be willing to parkjust outside of Scarborough if needed ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED

Water park just near Sealife Centre,maybe worth a try one has to pay but I think the charge was reasonable.

If I wasn’t to answer door if parking jobsworth knocks how can they prove someone in vehicle?

To be honest, it's not worth causing hassle. Most of us here tend to agree that we won't park where we're not welcome.... it just adds to the public's poor opinion of us and leads to more restrictions. Why not check out pubs in the area and give them a call to see if they'll let you stay in their car park overnight in return for using the pub? Good luck with your quest :)
 
Why not check the bus routes. Stay in a nearby village and go in by bus. I have done that a couple of times.
But Scarborough, bank holiday weekend!!!why?

Up until this year Scarborough sealife Centre was a great overnight stay for 9 per night or 24hrs it was, I have it on good authority that this is now stopped and no motorhome are allowed whatsoever to overnight there now. Sad but its another on given over to the boy racers and night hawks

It seems like everyday a bank holiday looking at coastal towns/villages but I’ve had to work right through the so called lockdown and bank holiday is the only time I can go
Mrs and daughter booked in grand hotel me and dog in van hopefully somewhat nearby?
