Anyone stayed recently at the sea life centre,
Do tickets still have to be bought early am ?

Bit late Gordon, we stayed a couple of weeks ago and tickets have to be bought from 9am, .,I think,

It’s free to park between 6pm to 9am. We’ve stayed twice this year.

Yes still free between 6pm to 9am as said was there last week,but if you want to park for free and there is nothing wrong with that,dont turn up before or stay outside of the times as a traffic warden does sometimes turn up shortly before 6pm.

It looks like a storage yard. So many vans crammed in. Not my idea of a night wildcamping. Everyone to their own I suppose

Yeah but a load of school kids had a sleepover inside sea life centre organised by their schools and they had a WHALEo a time there was also a run on and at ten last night they still had to run to the finish at Filey ,they had been on the go at that point for 13 hours it was amazing seeing them and trying to jar them on to keep going most of the van folks were out clapping them etc

Cal there was a run on and there were folks there a ting as support vehicles etc it was heart warming seeing the state some were in after 13 hrs running and still about 12k to run to reach the finish at Filey
There was a family/party atmosphere

Didn't know you could park overnight thanks for posting were thinking of going to Scarborough soon how much to park for 24 hours?

Also your ticket will be valid between most of the car parks in Scarborough so you're not stuck in 1 place...

If you buy a ticket for ten hrs in Scarborough you can use that ticket in Whitby asits the same council etc ,parking free overnight at sea life centre from 18*00 hours till 09*00am

Check the pay machines to confirm times,also think next month a lot of the parking restrictions change ,like you can park around the bay?
