SatNav for Motorhome

I am in the process of replacing my standard car TomTom with another specific for Motorhomes (MH).

I have two choices

TomTom GO 7000 for Caravans and MH. Which is quite a dated model with no live traffic etc.. It has RDS, which only updates every half hour, if you can get the reception through a bot of wire stuck to the windscreen which always falls off.

OR

Snooper S7000 Ventura Motorhomes.

Have anyone tried either of these and what was your experience

1) ease of use - e.g setting up
2) Speed of unit finding your destination
3) traffic updates
4) Good points/bad points

Thanks folks, I would truly appreciate your views, and comments :)

No contest for me ...

The TomTom device will allow you to load POI files - such as our wild camping set.

The Snooper probably won't.

Regards

Hi I have had a Pro Nav for the last three years, and used it while driving a 7.5 ton lorry
while working for a driving agency I find in great for my Motorhome as you can put in your weight and sizes in and switch them off if using your car It will offer you HGV routes and avoid narrow roads and low Bridges I have used it scotland for 4 weeks and in France last year It cost £185 from Maplins. The Snooper looked good but a bit pricey cheers Snowbirds.
