Can anyone give me advice on what size Satellite dish I need to recieve "Free To Air" tv up the west coast and Outer Hebredes, Ideally I dont want to buy one bigger than 60cm because of stowage restrictions, so would 60cm be big enough, any advice would be appreciated, I am leaving end of April so time is of the essence.

Thanks Tone

We have a 66cm Maxview crank-up dish and it gets perfect reception all the way up the north west coast. I would guess that 60cm is fine. Have a good trip.

My tiny sky minidish worked perfect at Uig (Ferry terminal) on Skye , So i cant see why a 60cm shouldnt.:)

60cm dish is more than big enough, a standard sky dish would surfice.
Enjoy your trip. Get the 60cm dish and it will do for a lot of Europe, not all, but some.

Happy Camping:)

No probs with my standard Sky dish.

I got it given, so I suppose I am receiving free-to-Jim signals.

Sounds better than free-to-air.:D

I have a camos 40cm dome and had no problems in Scotland. I have pace 12 v receiver.

I've used the smallest sky dish (zone 1) at St Tropez. Occassionally the reception drops off in poor weather.

We bought a Camos Flat Sat, crank up system, was told that would be fine up in Scotland, will find out in June when we go up there.:)
