our tom tom only has maps of uk and ive just found out how exspensive the maps of europe are does anyone know if google maps on my android phone will do for france or is that uk only ? also will i use data if i use it in france ? or can any one tell me the best ie cheapest way of navigating abroad
 
Yes you will be charged for data on phones and it can be expensive. Our tomtom One has basic europe on it when we brought it but the cheapest is get yourself a Mitchelin map.

A map is the cheapest option !!

or you could purchase another GPS with full European mapping on it, you can purchase new or used, there is a member on here, that can supply reconditioned ones.
