SAT NAV ID

Hi, Ive noticed when looking at co ordinates there’s often a ‘quick search sat nav I D - anyone know what this is? Is it useful?

It is useful if you know the ID number of the place you are looking for, if you look on on some sites they give you the qiuck search number which is in the format of 'S14582S', that is the ID for 52.815473, -4.710267, it is shorter and easier to put in but it doesn't save a great deal of time
