If it is a barn find .and stood for 10 years .. not good these vans need using to keep things working .
I would rather buy a van thats been used and driven ..by a owner that repairs it as things become. U S

Yep I reported a scam yesterday it was for a nice T5 very low price photo of email address to contact seller one photo of camper, email address was a very random Gmail email account address probably set up using a burner mobile.
The one above the MOT check would suggest some of the details are correct for that reg.

I had a look on e bay last night.....as you do......at the most recently listed. There were loads of vans on auction and starting at ridiculous prices. When I checked sellers other items he/she had over a thousands items for sale, The problem is, because they are on auction you can't report them. I feel so sorry for folks being duped. The old saying, buyer beware, is more important than ever.

At the right money it would be a good buy - but due to 10yrs sitting around wont of done it any favours - as a barn find probably only cost 10k even if it was that much - personally dont think it is a scam but then again i dont think it will make anyway near 25k

Starting price of an auction is irrelevant!

And you can report them, just find the report item link.
As it happens, this morning I did a eBay search for a certain model of Motorhome and found a couple of them on Auction listings (rather than Motor 'Classified') and when I clicked on them they could not be found (so must have been removed). Both from same 'seller'.

Some years ago I was bemused to see that my pals VW T25 was for sale on eBay and that he’d moved to Cornwall in the forty eight hours since I’d seen him!
It’s an unfortunate aspect of our modern society that scamming is so widespread. It’s the legal scammers that rile me, I noticed a mail order company advertising on tv last night offering purchases at 49% interest! If I was king, interest rates wouldn’t be allowed to be above a fixed percentage above base rate, rather like it used to be in the sixties with the hire purchase restrictions. Sorry, drifting off topic, rant over.

I bought a 'barn find ford motorhome' once.... so much work repairing... even had to have brake
drums re-ground.
It had sat so long with hand brake on it had distorted the drums to be oval.
not worth it....

Think I'd prefer this to the FC.....
It'd have to have a Cummins 6bt instead of the petrol though ;-)

As it turns out I have a mate with a derelict Green goddess ;-)
