sandsend Scarborough

Jut back from a trip to the coast. Planned on staying at sandsend. The spot on the wild camping Google earth thingy has been got by the Scarborough plague!!!!!
 
Boo hiss mean Scarborough council! My Dad has a couple of flats in Scarborough but it would be nice to get around a bit more :(
 
I was there briefly Saturday Evening a couple of vans in yhe gritting compound and allwas quiet...I was in the car so didnt hang about ...did it kick off?....passed bluebank, there was a talbot and T4 VW

We stayed in the gravel pit. 2 vans were there and said they're had no trouble. We were off and away for 9 this morning. Lovely to sleep to the sound of the waves

the sea front at Sandsend, signs state: no motorcaravans 11pm until 7am and the spot behind the toilet states no motorcaravans 11pm until 6am
We took the chance and parked behind the loo at Easter, the seafront was empty and the rough ground at the top of the bank heading for Whitby had about 5 Motorhomes in it. the carpark in Whitby centre opposite the marina was quite busy and they stayed overnight, as we could see them from Whitby abbey carpark.
