Salford Quays. The Lowry.

Taking the mrs and daughter to the opera tonight. Was looking for somewhere to park BigBertha for a few hours sit in it, read me book and pick them up again 3hrs later anyone any suggestions as to where i can park!!!!:D:D
 
Sorry don't know Salford quays but if its anywhere near where they hold the motorhome show there's lots of little sidestreets and a big NCP there too.
 
ye other side of water near united ground you will see 2 big anchors welded in the ground or crain hooks with chains on them next to trafford bridge up from the lowery that has free of charge wagon parking iv stayed there and i also live around there
 
There is a multi storey car park at the Lowry, so if big bertha is a faily little bertha you will be ok. The good bit is if you use any of the restaurants in the Lowry (even if only for a coffee) you can get your car park ticket stamped and get free parking for 6 hrs.

If big bertha is big the multi storey wont be an option of course. There is loads of parking available round about during the day as one of the biggest building sites in the uk is next door and the parking is used by about 3000 builders during the day. However I don't know if these areas are available in the evening

And why were you also not going to the Opera??? If they have to suffer I think you should be prepared to suffer as well its only fair :)

No bloody way, I'd rather rub salt in me eyes.:D:D Back home now went in the car.
