Hi,some advice needed,i have a 6 berth Eldiss Autoquest but i think she may be suffering from a saggy back-end,as it slopes down slightly.
It has leaf springs is there anything i can do to 'beef it up' or 'jack it up' safely as i cant afford (i dont think?) new springs AND i am in Bulgaria, perhaps fit more and off what ? or make extension, the make is a Talbot/Peugot ?
I intend to make a tow -hitch too, that may carry a moped or tow a 800cc bike.

If you put any more weight on the back end it will slope down even more!

Saggy bottom ?

Thank you Peter, for your quick thinking,i didn't think of that !

:D

Hence the question or thread, can anyone give me some good info on what i can do ?
Until i sort out the problem,i wont be carrying mopeds,m/bikes or fat bar-stuards on the ever so slightly saggy slopey back - end.

Google MAD springs, I had a Talbot years ago that was saggy at the rear, so I fitted a pair of MAD spring assistors and it lifted the back end 4".
Hope this helps.

John.

You could try Aire Rides
Air ride - air suspension for any car - supplied or fully installed ..... a bit pricey IMHO.

when I worked in the USA , we used to fit Monroe air shocks
to vans carrying an extra "load". They were great. Don't know if you can get 'em over here.
Monroe Max-Air Shocks-Designed to Maintain Level Vehicle Height When Hauling Heavy Loads

probably the cheapest & easiest solution is to have the springs
rebuilt by someone like this :
Welcome To Midland Road Springs: Midland Road Springs

you might find their equivalent in a town the size of Thessalonika.
I'd ask around at a local truck repair shop.

Hope that helps , bottoms up ,
VanManDan.
