Still waiting for aib to reply , but
Has anyone with safeguard insurance got the t&c"s that covers trip length as they just say 365 days eu cover..
Some companies limit lengths of trips and I didn't want to phone yet as I'm still waiting replies from others.
I'm with comfort ins on their 270 day length trip with eu cover .
Safeguard are over £150 cheaper and I can't find out on the search except all giving good reviews.

Renewal due next month £30 increase . Not bad apart from the fact that takes it up to over £750 !

Mine is £200 less than that.
Don't suppose you remember if they limit trip lengths...

Bear in mind that it's likely that you can only spend up to 180 days in the EU in a given year anyway.

Peculiarly it says 90 or more days ?
May be in reference to EU restriction ?
I park in the street and most companies won't cover you .
Sudden thought that Camping and caravan club would have some input with insurance companies regarding this . Of course they don't .
Think I'll have to get myself a drive

As a fully paid up pendant I would like to point out that you can spend 185 days in a year
i.e. 90 (days 1-90) plus 90 (days 181- 270) plus 5 (days 361 to 365).

In 2028 you could spend 186 days!

AIB have said either 30.60.90.180 or 270 is what most cover in one trip.
For us it will be getting the right length.
Though they are not straight forward in telling you.
