i assum you mean saarebourg in france for your info
just use google maps type in the name of the town and when you get the map
whilst still showing the town map re type in the search bar (camping car parking) you will then get a map of all the parkings in the area shown by red dots the one in saarebourg is in the center of town near the river
have a nice trip
be carefull if wilding in switzerland it is not allowed we usualy use ski lift parkings without any problems
or if you intend to use a site a cheap one will probably be around £20 to 30 per night

Hi Bevo,
Around Sarrebourg I may give away a nice spot: the 'Rocher de Dabo'. It is a corkscrew road ending tophill on a parking at a chapel and a restaurant.
Nice views all around, you are allready in the Vosges-mountains, near Alsace. Beautifull walking area. Don't miss this one ! There are a lot of spots in that area. Have a look about Alsace overhere:http://www.wildcamping.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=118&order=desc&page=2
About the Rhine-falls in Schaffhousen (this is allready Switzerland, but on the German side of the Rhine): there is a motorhome parking (paying+ services) on walking distance of the falls.

Hi Bevo,
I did mess up Sarrebourg ( in France) with Saarburg (in Germany) it's about the same region but another country (and language)
Saarburg is indeed not far from Trier (worth visiting the roman Porta Nigra) but is not on the Rhine but on the Saar wich flows in the Mosel and the Mosel at Koblenz in the Rhine.
I will post what I have about the Saar under European>Germany
Have a good trip

A good spot to visit and overnight parking is at "Neuhausen am Rheinfall".
A caoch and car park with an extra aera for M/H with toilets and shower.
Overnight parking fee 10 Swiss Franks (or €)
Just follow the sign post "M/H" - its down the river (just after the fall) direction "Nohl" (part of Neuhausen).

There is a very nice stella platz in Sarrburg right alongside the Mosel. It is a short walk or bike ride along the river into the town on the opposite bank.
