Rutland Water?

I love it at Lyndon Top Barry it was a great place to be when Arthur and Madelaine ran it. (RIP Arthur) He was a real character and whenever I met him walking around the site he always remembered my name and would always stroll over and shake my hand and say 'morning Rob'.

They do a good breakfast at the Golf clubhouse and you can always use the bar there in there as well. One afternoon a few of us were in there and it was about 30 odd quid for a round, I went to get the last round in the evening and the bar manager said "you lads have been spending in here all day so I insist this one is on me". Not many places would do that and that sort of thing goes a long way with me.

Would be a great place for a rally or meet up Rob. Quite central really in England at least.

Rutland Water can feck right off!

Stunning lake, 29c, swim and kayak where you like, Cracking pitch with hookup right next to the lake. Twelve quid a night. :ROFLMAO:
