Russian missile site

One our tour of Eastern Europe we visited an abandoned Russian nuclear missile site in Lithuanian. it is a massive site with four 100ft deep missile silos and lots of control rooms etc. A very scary place. the missiles used to be aimed at Norway, Britain, Spain and Turkey.

Went there last Autumn. Found it fascinating. Knew so little about the cold War. Standing and peering over the edge of the missile launch was chilling.
