Just back from 2 weeks in Russia (Moscow, Golden Ring, St Petersburg) travelling by local buses and trains - not campervan! Only saw 3 motorhomes - one with a film crew, glimpsed a parked one from a bus window and this one in the courtyard of the apartment block we stayed in in St Petersburg. Guess the Russians don't do motorhoming. Lots of places to wild camp though, although the police are everywhere, one day every side road / track had a car or officer in situ. We also spent 3 days in Helsinki, MHs everywhere.
