Rubber on window

SORRY I have just posted this question on the wrong page.
Our windows in the camper are sticking and when we manage to get them open the ruber is stuck to the glass, has anyone any tips. someone suggested french chalk but wouldn't that just wash off in the rain

Silicone grease works for me

a smear of olive oil works wonders. i also use it ti lubricate the curtain runners,you can get inside with a cotton bud!

Hi, Olive oil, and most other oils and greases, rot rubber.
Get some silicon spray from Halfords.

Thanks to you all, will use silicone spray, thats if the rain ever stops.
