Route over Pyrenees - not a tunnel

Hi all
Am wanting to cross over the Pyrenees after visiting Ainsa - prefer not to use tunnels - anyone got any suggestions??

Depends which way your heading. We usually aim for the Roman Spa Baths at Dorres. Sulphurous spring water comes directly out of the ground and into the baths at 38 degrees. You can wildcamp in the car park for the baths. It costs under 5 euros for entry to the spa pools but you can stay all day. They have sunbeds and cafe. Great chill out place with magnificent views over the pyrenees but there are others in the region also. Thermal Springs and Spas in the Languedoc

Don't know how you like your roads,or size of your MH, but once over the pass, the road to Lourdes is a good drive. 42.967972, -0.368610

I can confirm that we have also had snow and sleet on our return from Spain at this time of year.

If you go east you will have to go through a tunnel within Spain to get to Vielha and then France. The AS136 D934 Pourtalet is a good road. See Pyrénées : état des routes et cols. Ouverture, fermeture, déneigement, infotrafic for current situation on all the roads in the Pyrenees.
