Hi Rob, my Land Rover has been sprayed in raptor, it is very hard wearing giving it a plastic coating but be aware it isn’t smooth it gives it a rough texture. I can post a pic if you like?
Here you go, it is due a wash tho. It’s quite muddy in the lane where I live!
Free benefit, Rob - with a coarse finish to the shower floor ['oh bugger - dropped the effing soap again!'?], you'll have no need for a pumice stone or a Scholls Corn Plaster ever again ... Well, until the soap flakes build up to level out the texture ...Thanks for that.
I quite like the textured finish - they supply 2 rollers so when I do my wet room I will use the finer one for the walls and the coarser one for the ply shower tray I am making. The roof will not matter really as the area I am doing is where I have bolted Unistrut rails to hold the solar panels so I will work the raptor in around the bolts with a very small brush. If I were to ever build a stealth van (which I won't at my age) I would love to have it sprayed in Army Green Raptor.
I have watched several videos including the following which is how I want to do my shower;
I would love to see a picture of the Landy.

As a former boss of mine was wont to remark around 1975, in those pre-PC days, 'Tell him that if he can stand the stench, I can stand the pain ...'I reckon it's the same stuff (or similar) that the shower tray repair companies use Steve.
But I never drop the Soap, I learned not to in prison.![]()
Bet you did not use 2 pack etch hence the peeling on alloy.Here you go, it is due a wash tho. It’s quite muddy in the lane where I live!

Sorry for the late reply. The roof is alluminium, I don't think it is the side joints, but more likely to be the solar panel fixings, or the skylight surrounds. The van is parked on an inclined drive, the water is appearing at the rear of the van, so the leak could be anywhere on the roof!Is you roof GRP or alloy, is it main roof leak or side joints.

Absolutely! I cant see the logic in treating the whole roof in an effort to seal one tiny hole, you'll probably miss it anyway if it's on a solar panel fixing. I've had to trace and seal leaks on my PVC roof several times, seems an impossible task at first but in reality it's just a matter of inspecting every seam and joint carefully, mine were ALL where two different seams met (must have been a Friday afternoon buildIt might be worth trying to track the leak with a damp metre?
