Hi everybody, another gas problem ,this time it is the Trumatic fire , which in some windy conditions refuses to keep alight ,as anybody else experienced this and if so what have they done to cure this safely.
I have had this problem on every van I have had , it does say in the manual that if the van is used in winter or in windy conditions fit --part no-- cowl , no idea what form it takes ,and why dont they fit it as standard.

its probably the wind blowing the flame away from the thermo coupling which will then shut off the gas. only way would be to shield the fire from this if it is this that's causing the prob
